WINTER MUSIC CAMP 2020 - EVENT REGISTRATION

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, THEN COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING FORM.

 We’re excited to announce that this year's Winter Music Camp will take place Wednesday, February 26 through Friday February 28, 6:00-8:00 each evening. The program will begin promptly at 6:00 each evening, so please be sure your student arrives no later than 5:50.

AGENDA: Camp will focus on stripping down ‘Summer X,’ an original song written and recorded by Quest Center students during our 2019 Summer Music Camp with Grammy-nominated recording engineer Dave Salley. It is a highly produced number, and our challenge will be to re-imagine it as a performance piece, with students exploring different arrangements and a variety of instruments. Camp will conclude with a performance of ‘Summer X LIVE!’ on Friday evening, Feb 28 at 7:50.

This camp is most appropriate for students grades 5-12 who’ve completed our beginner guitar, beginner banjo or beginner fiddle classes, or who have reasonable familiarity with their instrument. Students with proficiency in other instruments are invited to bring additional instruments, however instructor approval may be required and there’s no guarantee they will be used for the performance.

The cost is $45 per student for all 3 nights (assistance available for qualified families. call us at 615 326 5090 or email jim@qcdickson.org)

This event is limited to 12 students and will reach capacity, so please register as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE:

1) In an effort to support some of our less experienced students, we may ‘partner’ them with older students as mentors;

2) Camp will require a high degree of effort, focus, attention and cooperation from every student;

3) Mobile devices will be collected upon arrival and returned at the conclusion of each evening.

By submitting this application, you agree:

1) Unless other arrangements have been agreed, payment is expected in full prior to the start of camp.

2) In fairness to all campers, students must attend all 3 nights. There are no refunds for partial attendance.

3) The QUEST CENTER is a 501(C)(3) non-profit community organization that relies heavily on pictures and videos of our classes/events to build awareness and funding for our programs. I agree that images/videos of my child may be used for Quest Center promotional purposes.
