REGISTRATION - DAVE SALLEY 2019 SUMMER MUSIC CAMP

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, COMPLETE ALL FIELDS AND BE SURE TO HIT ‘SUBMIT.’

Our first Summer Music Camp for 2019 will take place Wednesday, June 12 through Friday, June 14, 10:00-12:00 each day. We are THRILLED to once again welcome our special guest GRAMMY-NOMINATED RECORDING ENGINEER DAVE SALLEY

Students will arrange and record an original song. The program will begin promptly at 10:00 each day, so be sure your student arrives no later than 9:50. Camp will conclude with a listening party of the recorded song on Friday, June 22 at 12:00. Students will receive a digital copy of the final mix.

This camp is most appropriate for students grades 6-12 who’ve completed our guitar 1, keyboard 1 or fiddle 1 classes, or who have reasonable familiarity with their instrument(s) of choice. We encourage creative innovation, so students are invited (and encouraged) to bring their own instruments, although they may require approval of Quest Center staff - please contact us with questions - and there is no guarantee that they will be included in the project. A limited number of instruments will be available for use during camp.

Each student is expected to actively participate regardless of their skill level and must be willing to contribute outside of their comfort zone. Please be aware that recording music requires a significant amount of downtime and respectful PATIENCE on the part of all musicians, and students are expected to follow the instructions of camp staff. Students will get a good feel for what actually happens at a recording session.

The cost is $45 per student for all 3 days (assistance available for qualified families. call us at 615 326 5090 or email jim@qcdickson.org).

To ensure a hands-on experience & personal attention, space is extremely limited and we expect to reach capacity. PLEASE REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IN FAIRNESS TO EVERYONE, STUDENTS MUST ATTEND ALL 3 DAYS. NO REFUNDS.

By submitting this application, you agree:

1) Unless other arrangements have been agreed, payment is expected in full prior to the start of camp.

2) In fairness to all campers, students must attend all 3 days. There are no refunds for partial attendance.

3) The QUEST CENTER is a 501(C)(3) non-profit community organization that relies heavily on pictures and videos of our classes/events to build awareness and funding for our programs. I agree that images/videos of my child may be used for Quest Center promotional purposes.
